First and foremost, this devlog is to announce that Heartsbloom now has a Spanish translation! You can toggle over to Spanish in the settings at any time. 

Buncil_18 got in touch with me and very graciously offered their services to make the game more accessible. It's really important to me that this game reaches whoever needs to play it and my shaky, high school Spanish was never gonna transcend the language barrier so I really appreciate the help! If anyone else is interested in doing a translation, feel free to get in touch.

While I'm here I also want to say thank you for the kind comments and the reception so far. I wrote the script for Heartsbloom late one night in one long session after feeling a bit frustrated that, even after a lot of searching, I couldn't find the kind of romantic content I was looking for anywhere. It was a real Thanos, "Fine. I'll do it myself," moment.  

Romance writing really isn't my wheelhouse (I'm much more into fantasy which you can see from the setting of the game) and this is this first thing I've ever written that's primarily romance focused, but I'm proud of how it came out. I hope it helps anyone who's ever been in my shoes feel a little less frustrated and that even people who aren't specifically looking for this kind of content enjoy it as well!

Also wanna quickly shout out my artist Sterki Herz who I worked with on my last game as well and who's always amazing. Loved getting to have proper CGs done this time. And a special shout out to Fablefly Music whose royalty free tracks I used for this game. I've been a fan of theirs since I stumbled across their Cinder 'Til Midnight soundtrack and I've been looking for an excuse to use some of their tracks. This was the perfect opportunity!
